On Friday 21st February, 30 excited students and staff departed Manchester Airport on their way to Krakow, Poland.
Our students had a packed itinerary consisting of a visit to the historical city of Krakow engrained in Holocaust history, a school visit to Krakow provides an in depth study of life in the Jewish community before the war and subsequently life in the make-shift ghetto before deportation to extermination camps.

The students met with Maksy Mowicz Lidia at the Galicia museum who is the youngest ever
survivor of Auschwitz. It was such a great honour to meet her.
