Year 8

#TeamSPH are missing our students greatly! Here's a message from all our staff. We hope we get to see you soon, but until we do just remember that it's #TimesLikeThese we learn to love again.

Hi to all of year 8!
I hope everyone is keeping well and safe and you have all settled into the routine of working from home. It is all very strange for us all at the moment and so it is important we all keep ourselves busy and have some sort of routine.
I know lots of people have been working hard and some of you have been worrying about meeting deadlines and submitting work, please don’t worry about this at this time, just keep yourselves busy and do what you are able to do.
Below is the start of a list of things for us all to have a go at while we are at home (and a break from school work), feel free to share any photos and any other ideas you have so we can make this list longer!
Try an online yoga class
Practice some mindfulness/meditation
Take part in an online dance class
PE with Joe Wickes
Read a book- set up a book club with your friends
Use zoom to link up with your friends and do something creative together
Make your own chocolate Easter eggs
Get outside and play some football (There are plenty of online quarantine challenges on you tube)
Please get in touch if you have any questions, worries or just want to check in. I look forward to hearing how you are all getting on and hopefully seeing some creative photos!
There is a new communication app called 'Seesaw'.  Please see your VLE for information of how to download and use this to connect and share with others the fun thngs you have been doing.
Take Care and stay safe.
Hope to see you all soon
Ms Neves
