Well done to 10FI for winning the attendance challenge for the week ending 28th February
This week’s collective worship will be concerning ‘Easter‘ and will be presented by Miss Egan.
We are focusing on relationships for our cultural capital – the idea is we will promote our students to build positive healthy relationships with people in all areas of their lives, this is a key skill they will require as they move through life.
The reward trip process is still ongoing:-
1. 96% Attendance figure or above for the term
2. 96% Punctuality figure or above for the term e.g not more than 4/5 lates!
3. An average grade 2 or higher attitude to learning across all subjects
4. No more than 1 Emmaus in a term
5. Positive credit score
The options are likely to be Alton Towers, Go Karting, Chester Zoo and St George’s Park.
Lates are an issue for some students, students must be at their form room by 8.45. This and attendance will all now be reflected on college applications. Please encourage the students to be present and punctual.
Uniform is looking fantastic, there have been some issues around footwear, if you are unsure please consult the website for examples of suitable shoes. If you are still unsure please consult with either your tutor or head of year before purchasing.
A reminder that planners should be signed weekly by parents/carers and your support with this is appreciated. This allows you to monitor homework being set, detentions and messages. Some students have also not taken care of their planner, if students are found to have deliberately misused their planner or they lose it a charge of £5 will be made for its replacement.
