6th December 2018
St Philip Howard will be taking part in Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Save the Children. By taking part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, our pupils and staff will be helping give the world’s forgotten children a brighter future. We’ll be helping sort out real matters like global inequality, poverty and hunger and we will be doing this while wearing some Christmas sweaters!
Christmas Jumper Day will take place on Friday 14th December 2018. This is an opportunity for our pupils to wear a festive jumper – there’s no need to splash out on snazzy new knits – just spruce up an old sweater with tinsel, baubles or pompoms. We would ask that the students donate a minimum of £1 each for the opportunity to come into school in their Christmas Jumpers for the day. If £1 is not possible then whatever they can donate for this worthy charity will be great.
If your child chooses to wear a Christmas jumper we would ask that they wear school trousers/skirt and school shoes, if your child would not like to take part then we would ask they come in full school uniform.
By supporting Save the Children it means that they can bring vital things like food, shelter and medicine to children who urgently need them.
Thank you for your continued support.
