Dear Parent / Carer,
There have been many changes to the KS4 curriculum in recent months, along with a new grading system of 1-9 instead of A*-G. This shake up is monumental and has brought with it many complications and concerns for teachers, pupils and parents. We have been working hard to ensure that the school is as prepared as possible for this turbulent and transitional period.
As part of this transitional process, we are holding a Curriculum and Data Evening for parents and carers, where we will share some of the recent developments relating to the curriculum, data and GCSE examinations. It is an opportunity for parents and carers to gain an insight into these national reforms and what it means for their child and our school moving forward.
The informal meeting will take place here at school on Thursday 13th October, from 4:30pm. We intend to be finished by no later than 5:30pm.
If you would like any more information regarding this evening, please do not hesitate to contact me here at the school.
